Lights Damn Lights

Well, i have an old S7 (1993) Cortina Based. The car is fully running but has a silly lighting problem. Basically the side lights on the drivers side will NOT work, i have tried everything, changing bulbs, playing with the loom and more.

I am also missing the original build spec, along with the wiring advice Sooooo please if anyone has any idea....or even better some old build spec for a Cortina based S7 please help!!!!!

if your going to stoneleigh ill bring my old build manual with me so you can have a look.. the cortina build manual is not a pretty thing.

 

sounds like a bad earth to me though ... ive got a similar problem atm , but with the o/s repeater.

I'll say this before Jim does, PUT YOUR LOCATION in your profile...then, you may find for the price of a cuppa and a few biccies - problem solved

Zim, have you checked that you have voltage at the bulb? if so it must be an earth problem, or bulb, if no volts have you checked the fuses? I think the cortina may have had a fuse for each side.
