Has anyone bought side mirrors M07BK from CarBuilder Solutions they look a lot better than the CBS ones supplied with the Zero kit.

The only issue I can see with this design is that you will not be able to see over the rear arches which is a requirement in the IVA.

 

Even if you fit the screen, you will have problems finding a suitable place to bolt them on.

Why should these mirrors be any different for being able to see over the rear wheel arches

Mounted to the bodywork there is poor/less depth of veiw,look at the IVA manual & it gives all measurements.

That's why the mirrors on stalks are recommended for the IVA. Those with the short stalks will not be high enough for the driver (tester) to be able to see over the rear wheel arches.

 

As Florin says, you will need to raise the mirrors in order to pass IVA. I have two holes in the scuttle where these stalk mirrors were fitted specifically for the IVA. They are now fitted to the screen pillars and the original holes are hidden by these pillars.

I have M13CAT the snide Caterham ones body mounted as I'm running aero screens - they may not look as funky but they don't look bad and they give great visibility out back

Meant to say - what about scooter wing mirrors? Much cheaper and available with 10mm or 8mm thread.
