Robin Hood 2b

Hi All

I have been reading with interest the various posts on this board for a while - just can't find the answers I need so here I go!

I am building a Marlin Sportster with my father-in-law at the moment and I am seriously thinking about getting myself a Robin Hood 2b a bit later on in the year. Can anyone give me some exterior dimensions of one as I need to make sure it goes in the garage!!!

The Marlin is turning out to be a complete art of bracket fabrication and sourcing of difficult parts - is the Robin Hood similar and how is the backup from RH themselves? As I live just of J22 M1 they are not far away from me anyway, so they could be visited if required ^_^

Also - anyone here in Leicestershire so I could see a 2b built and in the flesh?

Cheers

Will.

All credit to Robin Hood, you can build a 2b from the 1 kit /1 doner principle,

this is the Robin Hood ethos,.........but the only mods you may wish to carry out,

purely on a "make life easier" approach can also be done!!!!!

You certainly do'nt need to scavenge various parts from various different vehicles.

Hope this helps.

Cheers Ian

Hi Will - if yoiu are near J22 on the M1 you are perfectly placed to come and join us at our Derbyshire meets at the Bulls Head in Repton on the 3rd Sunday of the month or Notts at Rolls Royce Social Club at Hucknal on the 1st Sunday Of the month.

I will send you a PM with my phone number to get details.

You will be among approx 20 Hoodies at either of the meetings.

Unfortunately I am not at home and dont have Leicestershire Area meeting details to hand - can a member please check the Mag and post details below - thanks.

You (and anyone else) are very welcome to come to a meeting and see what the Club is about and start making new friends.

You dont have to have a Robin Hood to join our Club !
