Zero Top Ball Joints

My top ball joints seem to have split the rubbers or perished (not even finished the car yet).

 

What are they from please?

 

Is this comon or have I got a duff set, bought from GBS?

Thats the challenge,,,,,,

to finish the car before the rubbers perish, Lol,

 

 

I think they are transit track rod ends,,, someone please correct me if I'm wrong

Instead of replacing the whole ball joint, most motorfactors now sell balljoint covers in response to them becoming failable on the MOT test if split.
