Well finally got the MEV to test yesterday

Unfortunately it failed but not on many things I think 2-3 weeks and I shoudl have it complete fail list as follows

EMissions - I knew it was not going ot pass this as the ECU was only runnign a base map

REar brakes - Bias was set in such a way where the rears were not getting much performance, hand brakes was fine so I guess this is just down to the bias bar needing set

Kerb side brake pibe fouling suspension on full lock - AGain I think this is a matter of rotating theflexi pipe as it comes through the body

ball joint not securely fastened - I replaced the lower ball joint a week ago, after the original one perished, for some reason this does not seem to sit flush onto the wishbone so will need to check as to why

SPeedometer - for some reason teh Vapor trail speedo I am using has decided not to illuminate so I will need to look at the wiring on this.

Head lights - Again, the head lights failed the test as they did nto have the correct pattern, reading car builder solutions, these lights may Fail IVA, so I need to sort out a new set.

Overall, that list is quite small, and I am very happy with that.

I hope to have most of this turned around this week and get retest & DVLA booked for build up inspection.

Was tested in Newcastle and I have to say the inspector was very good and helpful as I have always found at Sandy lane, and was more than happy for me to ask questions at every stage of the test about what was going on.
