Main Beam Switches

Hi, I am replacing all the Sierra stalks for switches like on a Caterham. I have a side light switch and then a headlight switch, similiar to the Caterham alloy ones. For main beam do I need a flasher for the main beam or can I just have a main beam on off switch?

There is no requirement for a headlamp flasher switch as far as I am aware. Is the car on the road? (Passed IVA) as what is ok for MoT is not always ok for IVA.

Hi, the car is not on the road so will need to pass an IVA test. On the Caterham R500 there dos'nt seem to be a flasher switch, just a main beam. Don't want to get it wrong and then fail an IVA.

In that case I would stick with the Ford storks at this stage and re-engineer after IVA.

Build it as you want it. I can find no need for a flasher in IVA manual and so have built without one. I am using toggle switches.
