Efi Alteration

can anyone tell me if you can cut and reweld an efi inlet manifold from a dohc so it fits neatly under bonnet. any info would help thanks.

not using the efi mate its fat slo and sticks out the bonnet if ure a wee chap you won't see over it :angry: good luck

This has been done before. It has slight efffects on snap opening and closeing of the throttle. Otherwise provided you get it gastight and dont restrict the passages there should be no problems.

I know it's possible for the SOHC EFi, not sure about the DOHC. I know for the pinto it's a big, differcult job and you lose a couple of horse power, better off cutting a hole in the bonnet, it looks pretty cool when it's polished up and shiny too!
