Steering Wheel

Hi,

Decided to iva with the std sierra wheel. Mine has the centre cover missing. Fleabay have them but they have a push horn incorporated. My horn is on the indicator stalk.

I need the centre for iva but don't want the horn version. Tempted to make something as the £15 asking price seems a bit steep for a plastic disk.

 

Any thoughts?

I just covered my symbol with a small PVC tape rectangle to hide it.

 

If a symbol is there, it MUST work to pass the IVA. No symbol - no problem. (They all know the steering wheel will be coming off anyway - but that's the rules etc.)

Managed to get 2 centres from fleabay (thought I was bidding for 1). Horn tab comes out quite easily.

 

Have a spare if anyone needs it.
