Fitting Harnesses

Hi all again,

 

About to fit harnesses, should they go through hole in the back of the seat or over the shoulder of the seat, I've got kirkey racing seats so they are quite narrow at the top and the mounting points are half way between through the hole or over the shoulder, what is favoured by iva?

As always any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Mark, for my iva (3 years ago) I was told that fitting the belts through the seat meant that the seats became "structural" so I just put them around the shoulder with no probs.

As above around the seat is preferable for IVA
