Rear Suspention

I fitted capri rear shocks and retained donor springs.Why are the shocks settling in an almost closed posision.I can hear them bottom out while driving.

Assuming the ride height is correct they obviously have too long a closed length. What's your car based on? don't know the series 2 off the top of my head but I didn't think RH ever based a car on a Capri (should they be Cortina instead?). Why did you fit Capri items?

Got info of Dave Andrews site. On the older models the sierra shocks were so long they could'nt be fitted straight up and down.Capri shocks will fit.Ithink i've solved the problem,my top mounts my be to high.

why dont you bin the capri shocks and sierra springs and go for coilover adjustable

shocks?You will have to strengthen up the mounts but it will be well worth it,I had mine converted some time ago and the difference is amazing.
