Hi Guys and Gals

I need some advise on wiring a push button starter. The Variety i have is a toggle switch with warning lamp and the push button itself, can anyone give me an idiots guide to wiring this up. Many thanks in advance. P.S. Its to a 1.6 Pinto.

I am fitting my starter right now :)

The Ford ignition switch is designed to prevent the starter from engaging when the engine is running by requiring the switch to be moved to the 'engine off' position first...

If you still want to fit a push switch all you need is switched positive to switch and other side of switch to starter solenoid. The soleniod has a male spade terminal so you need a female connector...
