Hi all i am new to this game i have a robin hood super spec my problem is my brake lights have stopped working i did have a problem with the reversing light but this is now working so i was thinking is it the way i wired the reversing light back up thats give me this problem also my fuel pump has stopped working does this wire in from the rear lights any help would be great thanks

I assume you have checked all the fuses ? As you know the Superspec wiring diagram is not overly helpful, but I doubt the brake lights and fuel pump are related. Again, what I have managed to figure out as regards the wiring is at:

Brake lights are working after pulling parts of the car apart i found the live feed to the lights had been cut on the panel No grommet in the hole were the loom is feed through the panels the fuel pump is also working this was the fuel inertia switch thanks for you help

Really great info Alan, I am in the process of re-doing the loom on my super spec (built 13 years ago!) this is really useful info.
