A Big Thankyou

Just want to say a big thankyou to a club member that I met a Stoneleigh.

 

This illustrates the true spirit of a club like this, the person concerned will know who he is.

 

Whilst walking around on Saturday afternoon admiring the cars and talking to owners I got talking to this particular person and happened to mention that I would be looking around the stalls for a second hand switch cowling, the one that goes around the indicater stalks and hazard warning switch.

I also mentioned that I had seen these on ebay for ridiculous amounts of money.

 

"I might have one of these" said this person, PM me when you get home and I will have a look.

 

Well, this club member had one and has posted it out to me but would accept no money for the item or the for postage, just a drink when we next meet up.

 

What a Gent.

It's about helping fellow minded chaps or chapesses if you can, (oh and the odd p155 take or 5).
