Hi guys, I'm due to fit my blacktop zetec into the chassis I have the support rubber mounts however the mounts I have are not the right alignment for the engine, I'm looking at getting 1.8 cvh mounts? Is this okay?

Also are there only 2 mounting points to use or do you mount the gearbox too?

You've come to the rescue again mate, I've sourced 2 mounts as mentioned, but they are a bit steep in price, especially as I have no idea if they will fit. What price will you be looking at for them? As I'll be more than interested to snap them up. Just pm me when you go to sell them

ok as said I will be stripping them out tomorrow and take pictures cos I have welded them and whilst not perfect they have served me well

Awesome, are they the only mounts you used to support the whole engine and gearbox?

as you can see from this picture you still have to redrill the chassis plate that holds them20140220_190116_zps497c2740.jpg
