2ltr Cosworth Engine In A 111a Chassis

Im thinking of buying a 111A with a 220bhp cosworth engine for a track car, but am unsure whether the chassis is up to the job. Any advise would be gratefully accepted.

more than up to the job,it will take v8 no probs and they are more torqe than a cossie

Sorry Rizla, but got to disagree slightly. mine is a mark 3, and without a good few modifications to strengthen various parts of it up, it'll fall apart within 6 months of abuse with so much power. do the mods, and it should be OK.
