Hi Salty.

Ancaster is about 1 mile away, no idea what type of fuel though.

Depending on if you want to run with a full tank or not, you may want to bring a couple of cans.

Tyre pressure, i would say that 20 psi is going to be nowhere near enough, more likely 26-28 to start with

But in the end it is all down to the quality of the rubber

John - have Kuhmo powermax so nothing special (195 rear, 185 front).

Will put a few extra pound in when I fill up just before I arrive then, can always let a bit out I guess..

Why do you need more pressure on the track? Just because of the cornering speeds? I would have thought effective pressure would go up anyway because of the high temps..??

Questions, questions always asking questions!!

Hi Docter Fox,

best bet, would be to arrive about 10.00 on saturday morning, car action from about 10.30 to 17.00

Camp overnight and the same timings should roughly apply for sunday.

If you are racing you need to be there for 09.00 on Saturday

Hi Salty,

you didnt mention the profile of the tyres you are using????

While a low psi is fine for road use, a nice soft ride, higher psi will be needed for track use.

Do to higher cornering speeds the tyre will be under more stress in corners, low psi will alow the tyre to roll on the rim due to to a soft tyre wall. hence the suggestion of a higher psi.

You could always bring a foot pump, you could be popular as everyone else will forget to bring one
