i want to make my own car

hi im new here i want to know if i can make my own car and get it registered in the uk

i will make my own chassis and body in the uk i want to make it look like a lotus 23c  or a porsche 718 rsk  is it posable to have it registered and i was also thinking on selling a few too i have looked at a few goverment webbcites buy its only about kits  i want to do my own full build chassis and body ect please advise me on if i build my own chassis from steel space frame how they test it to pass ect or do they go buy it looks strong enough
