his best moment ever on telly was when he was hypnotised to believe a toy porshce was real, and that clarksons pedal car had just written it off!

Other than that, i'd have to side with Terry

Though it would be good publicity for the club.

For those that missed Brainiac, Hammond spent

a quarter of the show driving a Robin Hood around a circuit

finding out the most fuel efficient way to drive.

I wonder how many veiwers were thinking, "What a nice car"

I think we could raise the profile of the marque by giving him

free membership and telling the press.

I watched it. It was a green and stainless RH (not sure which model), with swept wings. They disconnected the fuel tank and fashioned a small clear tank from a clear water bottle. This was mounted infront of the windscreen on the left.

They filled the bottle up with fuel to marked line and took the car around the track in different ways:

1) steady 30mph (about 15.5 laps)

2) accelerate to 40mph then roll down to 20mph continuously (about 14 laps)

3) full throttle all the way (can't really remember but about 7 laps ish)

He looked quite at home in it and said that he was having a lot of fun doing test 3. But in his words "the brainiac mobile isn't the highest tuned of cars" because during test 2 it kept stalling when he was coasting.

The car was not injected as Mr.Hammond spoke about using the fuel up in the carburettor.

The car had brainiac stickers all over it apart from all 5 wheels which had RH stickers on them.

Oh and during test he managed to knock the indicator on so he was driving around with it on.

Hope that clears it up if anyone won't get a chance to see it.

I did notice that, There he was doing a fuel consumption test and when he was doing it fast he was doing handbrake turns!!!

Why brake when you are trying to go far?

Still it was good to see a Hood on TV for so long. :D :D
