Fuel Pump Advice

Looking for advice from anyone please.

Sitiuation is I have an S7 with cologne 2.8 injection from XR4i. Fuel pumps have been slung underneath from sierra with an accumulator between pump and filter to reduce "pulsing" of fuel.

Tank is orig non-baffled, non swirl pot jobbie, which leaks from sender a bit and have had to use above three quarters full to avoid sloshing.

So car off road to have a new tank manufactured. Contacted Allyfab and they will make up to external dimensions of existing tank.

What I want to do is get an internal fuel pump fitted so I can dispense with gubbins underneath which is actually a bit low slung. Allyfab say no problems to manufacture tank and will find out best pump, but can anyone recommend an appropriate internal pump to feed the mechanical fuel injection?

Also will dispensing with the tintop fitted "accumulater" cause any problems?

May be a case of suck it and see i fear, but any advice appreciated.

Cheers

Lee

I modified a sierra sender by strapping a mondeo fuel pump to it, this works fine but it does need a swirl pot.

The latest thing I am looking for is a pump and sender unit from a 2.0l honda vtec, there was one on ebay but it went for £60 :o , bit too much for me

but it incorporates a pump capable of 200bhp, a swirl pot, a level sender and it is adjustable to depth so sounds perfect to me, the only problem is I don't know what car it is fitted to, I guess an accord type r or similar
