False Magasine Advert

in the recent magasine there is an advert for adrian flux insurance and it says "any age of driver" ...... IT LIES!

i rang up to get a quote and they said that the minimum age requirement was 19! the lying ******** :gdit:

when we said about the advert saying any age they guy on the phone said "no sorry its 19" sort out your advert then! :angry:

 

my moans over.....just think its wrong to blatently lie in adverts

That's what The Advertising Standards Agency is for. Complain to them and get it fixed or withdrawn.

Did you mention you saw the advert in teh club mag of which you are a member? (out of interest)

It does say "Any age of driver" on page 19 of my new mag

Seems a bit out of line if you ask me... Maybe they were intending to make a special allowance for club members but the staff on the phones haven't been told that bit yet....

yeh, i first saw the "any age of driver" in the club mag and rang them with the number provided, however now having looked around i must say iv seen it on quite a few of their adverts...

It says an age of driver, however that *may* be a club related offer, I don't know. That's why I asked if you mentioned it.

Not if he's since seen it on other adds.... Worth pursuing though as it defo gives the wrong impression!
