Rally Mud Flaps

just wondered if anyone knows the cheapest place to get some rally style mud flaps (blue?) or perhaps just some plastic sheet to make them?

cheapest so far is £9.99 for 2 plus delivery and it may sound a bit stingy but spending nearly £30 on mudflaps to go on a £85 pound car is a little excessive

Thanks :)

Surely you only need one of those white plastic 5 gallon containers...?? ;)

finding one seems to be a lot harder than we expected :(

thought we had one in the garage but i think we through it out ;)

even thought about cutting up one of the blue chairs in the common room  but we couldnt bend them flat so it wouldnt have worked

Steve G,

those are the cheapest so far :)

As simply as possible because you will be replacing them at regular intervals :D :D :D They should come with some mounting clamps to fasten them to the wing and a strip of steel and self tappers to secure the inner edge

if they dont come with a fitting kit there are a few big bolts in the garage so just need a few big washers

need to have it as near as complete before the first autotest on the 13th but we need a fair bit of practise first

i think with a few subtle modifications it could increase the value

next on the list is a bit of pipe to make our own exhaust :D

But that's only a 20% reduction and you're increasing weight and drag :p
