Mini Wiper Motor Securing To Bonnet

:angry: How have those successful people attached this to the bonnet

 

i have seen a couple of examples but cannot remember as it was ages ago.

 

anyone got any pics or destructions.

I used an angled plate from B&Q bent in a 'U' shape, mini wiper securing strap bolted to this then used the windscreen pillar mounting bolt to secure the bent plate to the bonnet with a thin strip of rubber in between to cut down vibrations.

I did something similar to Les, but my bracket goes through the bonnet itself. If you have the st/st panels you can get a nice chrome dome head bolt, it then becomes a feature. You can even put a matching dummy one on the other side. If it's mild steel like mine you can paint the bolt top.
