If the studs are through or within one turn of being through the nuts then it should be ok but any less then change them remember that not all alloys have the same amount of material at the stud holes.

thats true,but the arays that are supplied have longer wheel nuts that dont let the stud come through. quess i shall have to do a bit of measuring of studs/nuts/ etc before changing anything
