  4. Just starting to put the side panels up on to my 2b plus, i have seen on the rho site it mentions there can be a gap between the top chassis rail and the top turn over of the side panel.... if i put the bottom of the side panel up against the bottom of the car i have a gap of 1 inch the entire length of the turn over, is this normal for a robin hood????????...

    2 L Pinto

i got this engine from a local breakers. it has a ford vv carb fitted. and as far as i can tell hasnt been modified in any way. i have a donor that i stripped and have the v5, as this had a cvh fitted i am using a pinto instaed... the cvh doesnt fit the chjassis without moving the upper and lower crossmembers, and as i have a stainless chassis i opted to change engine... should i stick this new engine on the v5 foe ease at sva or just get a letter of dating from ford? thanks for the info so far, i am a bit clearer now.... now for a day getting greasey.

    2 L Pinto

:gdit: i wonder if anyone can help with a spot of advice for new builder . i have taken collection of the 2b4 kit and have a 2 litre pinto engine for it... and is a 205 block which i understand is good however i understand from ford that it is a 2 litre engine from a transit... even more a 57kw/78ps low compression engine. i have got myself somewhat confused checking the forums re transit engines etc is there any drawback in fitting it as it is or will it need some work to the gubbins? any advice most welcome
