Don't think so as currently meant to be away on business. Roof in good condition only had it a couple of weeks, recently bought it from busman770 hoping it would fit. Like he told me worth a chance and if it doesn't fit should be easy to sell on at this price.

Had a good day on car and can't see that the roof will fit without a lot of work. Still wanting to sell, anyone interested.

I think I have a similar problem with how I did the boot cover. I am nervious that moving the windscreen back will look strange as it would need to be behind the air vent in scuttle hence the reason for wanting to sell on

Did think about it but decided that this would too much hassle, looking at getting one made to fit the car and not fitting the car to the roof

Unfortunately not, screen was a couple of inches too far forward, otherwise would have been ideal.

Recently bought this roof with a hope of it fitting my car, unfortunately slightly too short to reach top on windscreen. The roof is: - blue - rear and side screens - no doors - poppers across screen top and around rear - single roof bar All in good condition! Only wanting to get £100 which is what I paid for it.

Thanks for the picture, I misread you first post, I thought that this had the doors but thy didn't have poppers. I'll have it and give it a go, nothing to lose , except £100 if it doesn't fit. I'll try and send you a PM with my email and phone number

  12. Hi all, I am coming to the end of my built and am fitting all the lights and had a question relating to the side repeater lights. The ideal position for me was on the rear wheel arches but they would be more than 2600mm from the front of the car. Am I right in thinking that the only place for the repeaters are on the front wheel arches. Do the repeaters have to be seen when the steering is on full lock or is it with the wheels straight ahead only? Thanks in advance and any pictures of recently passed car would be appreciated Paul

    Fog Light

Ooops forgot the year, the donor was a G reg which i took the switches/arms from. I needed an additional live wire with spade to the top of the arm with the light switches to get side lights to work when keys not in. Thanks again Paul

    Fog Light

Currently I have used the VG loom without any changes. I'm not sure where the switch gets it power from. Looks like it time to change this bit now.

    Fog Light

I have been battling with the wiring (again!!) but the end is in sight!! I was windering when the fog light should be on. I have read all the post I can find and I have worked out that is should only come on with: - Dip beam - Main beam This is fine but I seem to be able to turn on the fog light when the keys are not in the ignition and the light switch/arm is in the Main/Dip position. Is this right? And to make it slightly more intresting I seem to be able turn off the fog light by putting the main beam only on, but the fog stays on when I flash the main beam. Any ideas? Help!! Here's hoping, Paul
  17. Thanks earth it is! Paul
  18. I am putting the finishing touches to the wiring and I have one connection that I am unsure of what it is? I have the older style of sierra arms and the connector in question is above the Light and wiper controls. The spade terminal is below pin 15 which is connected to the red insulated terminal. What is it for and Should it be connected to anything? Any help greatly appriciated. Thanks, Paul lectric.bmp
  19. Thanks, I do have one relay for main and another for dip, I need to double check if they are supplied by a permanent or switched live. I have a permanent live to pin 15 with no flash, so I would assume that it is switched! one more thing to check tomorrow. Thanks, Paul
  20. Thanks Longboarder, spot on with your comment!! I had a grounded pin 15, have connected it now to a 12V supply and the flash now works. One further question I have is should the headlight flash work with the keys out? I've checked both tintops and they do but I can't but the 2B's light don't? Thanks again, Paul
  21. Hi Everyone, I know that this is probably a question that has been asked and answered many times in the past but I couldn't find which matches the problem I have. I am aiming to put the wiring in finally into the car which has been working fine previously but when clipped in my head lights all work fine on side, main and dipped but for some reason the main beam flasher has packed up. Has anyone had this problem and if so any help would be appriciated. Here's hoping Paul
  22. I have started to mount my RH rear lights cluster onto the rear wings I managed to get them perpendicular to the road but noticed the driver's light is not perpendicular to the direction of travel (outside edge is closer to the front of the car than the inner edge?) in aircraft terms the yaw plane. This is due to the shape of the rear wing when formed and rivetted it on. has anyone had this and is this ok? or do I need to try and mod the rubber base to try and get perpendicular to the road and direction of travel.
