  1. Afternoon all, Very close to being back to fully working after months of rewiring. My 2x last electrical gremlins are Rev counter not working (i think my new gauge is faulty, but may need further assistance if not) But the biggest issue is my fuel gauge is like a wind sock, it's never steady on any reading, ive taken it out and cleaned it up and reset the contact arm, but made sod all difference, installed a new fuel gauge as thought it was that. Now i think it's the actual sender unit. Can any advise what sender this is, as cannot see any part numbers on it, i believe it's a Robin Hood stainless fuel tank as it's pretty small Thanks all
  2. Evening all, my nearside fromt top arm ball joint cover has split, Can anyone tell me where i can get a replacement as unsure of where to source, been advised the donor car is an 89 Sierra, but don't know if it would be from it or the original kit
  3. Afternoon all, Newbie here, just curious to see what/if people have modified the gearstick length as mine seems like a lorry gear stick Is there a short shifter mod or is it a case of cutting it down? Cheers all Sam
  4. Hi Rich, you are correct, ive just looked and yes 2x speedos.... they may answer why lol Can you or anyone recommend a good replacement speedo kit
  5. Hi All, Introduce myself, I'm a new 2B owner in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Recently purchase my 2003 2B, has a few issues which i'm trying to resolve, i'm a former mechanic however very much a novice when it comes to the Kit Car scene so hoping the Guru's can assist. My main issue is the Speedo and Rev Counters are very intermittent, for the last few years MOT the mileage has never changed and sometimes didn't display at all, so MOT history looks a bit odd. Where would be my best starting point location to try and find my issue, also is there anyway of changing the mileage to try to catch up to where we suspect it is now. (Photo attached of gauges installed) I've not spent much time on it yet, as currently waiting for a replacement thermostat to turn up as the previous owner stated that it gets too hot and has to have the electric fan on constantly as they have been advised the core size of the rad is now too small, i'm not so sure, i think it could be a flow issue rather than a rad being too small, however i will no doubt be asking some questions about this further into ownership Thanks all, look forward to meeting you at some potential meets Sam
