I recently saw a set of these on Ebay which claimed to have a voltmeter (not ammeter). But went for a "silly" price £32 + P&P.

Do some have voltmeters ?? - A lot easier to wire .

I have scanned the pinout for the instrument cluster from a Haynes manual

for the Capri.

It doesnt give a pin for the oil warn lamp,probably because the Capri

had an oil pressure guage.

Terry / Flightless - just checked my dash, it has a Voltmeter and not an Ammeter. I seem to remember that the Mk2 Crapi had an Ammeter, must be the Mk3 that has a Voltmeter - I got mine from one of the later Lazer models....

Ammeter has the needle horizontal in the middle of the scale with ignition off with a + scale above and - scale below. Voltmeter has the needle at the bottom of the scale like the other three guages with the ignition off.
