Boot Lock

Hi All,

I'm now turning my attention to the Boot Lid.

I need some sort of lock (no handle though), something like a ordinary locker lock

I've looked on eBay and Woolies to no avail. Does anyone know where I can get one from or have one lying around in exchange for beer tokens?

That maplans one is not SVA compatible it is not radised around the top i had one like that at sva , and had to lay into with file on the day. So next time you use a fruit machine or cig machine be careful you could

seriously damage yourself.

You could be really flash , like Dan aldridge and modify the sierra boot catch to lock it down - spring pops his boot open electircally.

Mine passed SVA with the Maplins one fitted, but like most of the car the top edge was covered with self-amalgamating tape! Which ‘fell off’ after SVA

I used two locks and part of a grommet stuck on each lock surround. Strange coincidence though - they both fell off after the SVA too. Spooky or what
