Have read some topics in the other sections about 0-60 times and about 6.5-7 seconds seems to be the mark for a 2.0 pinto. Mine has a 2.1 with lightened flywheel and twin choke carb and hand timed a couple of 0-60 runs the other day at 5.3 and 5.4 seconds. this seems a tad un-realistic, am guessing the speedo is not calibrated correctly. or could it possibly be correct?

any comments appreciated

That sounds reasonable, mine is around 7 sec on a bog standard Pinto.

Bear in mind your speedo could be upto 10% out, so for a worst case scenario try timing yourself to 66mph. Or you could work out the gearing and work out what RPM you should be on at 60mph. The Rev counter should be more accurate than the speedo
