Cool. Thanks guys. Not so worried about it now!

When the engine is cold, it sits at about 75psi (think that's right anyway). It's only when the engine is warm and I change gear (ie. put the clutch down) that the pressure drops to about 30. Am I just being paranoid? Don't know what oil was in before as I've only changed the oil once since owning the car.

I've got an S7 with a 1983 2l pinto engine and I've trying to figure out which is the best oil grade to use? I've tried replacing my current oil with 20w-50 and my oil pressure drops alarmingly when the engine is warm. Anyone got any ideas what I should be using? TIA Theo

I completely agree with the A500 at Stoke. However, the A34 between Stone & Stoke is nightmare. Going to and from work, I pass 10 Speed Cameras and always at least 1 Safety Camera van!

Hi I currently have an S7 with 14" pepperpots and am looking at buying some new alloys for it. If I bought 15" alloys, would I need to get the speedo re-calibrated? Ta T

Hi I have a strange situation and was wondering if anyone has had any experience of this. I'm in the process of selling my MGF and I have a "buyer" from Norway. He states that he is owed some money from a client over here and that he is arranging for an agent for his shipping firm to send me a draft (which is more than the car!) and has asked me to deduct the funds. It just seems too good to be true. Anyone else had this ? T

I bought my S7 last year and was told that it had a Cherry Bomb on it. I have to say, it's bloody noisy! Great for attracting attention, but I have a habit of setting off car alarms! Also, it's really annoying on long runs. My missus keeps asking me not to rev the car on the driveway so as not to annoy the neighbours!! I'm looking at putting a quieter silencer on as it's just too much! My advice, listen to everyone else, don't bother with it :-)

I should be able to go .... the missus even said she'd come along!
