Ref some of the recent posts on subject i was having difficulty engaging gear partic first and reverse.

 

Advice was either to modify existing yellow one or change over.

 

A trip to the local Partco and they were able to provide a new one for the grand total of £4.21 so at this price not worth doing a modification. Its an easy part to fit even with the pedal box in place.

 

Problem has been solved.

 

For anyone interested the Powertrain part number is PTRP103 described as Ford Sierra clutch Quadrant.
