I had this issue with a Fiesta not aso long ago, one Ford dealer wanted to charge me £20, another ford dealer did it for nothing and I got chatted up by the woman on reception too

So if anyone can buy a CD off ebay with the codes - this makes the security code feature 'king useless.

 

Some cars now have the radio/cd display separate from the unit - but that's no guarantee that some scumbag won't nick the head unit :gdit:

If you're a thief and stealing radios regularly then you know how to use the CD to write the code on the top of the radio and sell it.

 

If you're an honest chap who simply doesn't have the codes for your own radio then you get charged (sorry, screwed) by a garage for the number.

Sorry i can only work how to do ford and bluapunky..pete i think yours is an owner input code i'm not sure but i dont think the discs will help on the owner input...they only work the factory codes

Thanks Micky there does seem to be a shortage of delco radio codes coming up on ebay, perhaps that explains it :boohoo: I have been loaned a disc which supposedly has Peugeot codes on it if Jim still needs one.

hi i have a ford 2006 radio in a car i just bought with no code can anyone help

 

the numbers on the radio are

 

2006 91FB-18K876-AA

 

FD2006MC160402

 

i hope this is all you need as really dont fancy forking out for new

 

radio as well..

Gavin, it looks as though it may need a memory dump output from the radio to calculate but you could try 0704 if you have a few lives left.
