Found this on a Suzuki Swift. The body is 4 1/2" in diameter. Its the casing that the racing suppliers use at £150. Take a 0 off that price at the scrappy. Makes my old Rascal one look chunky.

Only three groove pulley but belts cut down with a stanley knife easily. Time will tell if the belt breaks and I have to source a five groove pulley for it.

a friend of mine has got a swift sat in his barn not doing anything, is there any way of changing the pulley on the alternator?

You might get a flash ally one from Brise or cheaper try your local starter and alternator rebuilder's parts bin.
