Sierra Wheel Size

Featured Replies

As my alloys are too large for the front mudguards im trying to find a set of steelies to put on. What size wheels did the sierra GL have?

Nigel has kindly offered to lend me his alloys if i get stuck locally,

My steels were fitted with 185.65R14 on 5½ J rims

Unfortunately they're 220 miles away :(

Pay attention at the back there. I will have 14" sierra steels with good tyres by Tuesday. You can have them before they go on my car.

i literally read your message 2 minutes after writing this, feel a bit stupid now!

it's not the first and won't be the last :p

Nigel - Why the steels? You going for the "street sleeper" look?? Something tells me it won't work with a Robin Hood :D

Just fancy a change, have four barely worn 539 sitting in the dining room which nobody wanted and I want to save my 888's for barkstone and llandilowlilaalaa or whatever that welsh place is called.

Black with silver rims? Always liked that look.

PS they're probably lighter than most alloys as well!

get em on the scales :)

are the tyre's on them not very good then? or are you using them up before the 539's?

Doc I think he's getting some Steels to put the 539's on & will keep his 888's for track only...

Students  :D

I'm a student who's done his background reading

so he should have 3 sets of tyres and only 2 sets of wheels? ;)

With the spares you cut the beads off turn them half inside out, whitewash the outside and you have lovely large pots. But of John Innes No 3 and a fine summer display can be yours for very little outlay.
