and another hit the tyre wall at Barkston..... (talking of which, when are you going to get down there?? I know you have a spare engine so blowing it up is a poor excuse!!)

 

I didn't say they could all drive well, just that they liked to hit the throttle hard

Well i've managed to spend some time in the garage and get the dizzy modified as per the NW RHOCAR and Dave Andrews sites. What a difference! Torque right through the rev range and virtually no 'off cam' noticable.

 

All was going great until the accelerator cable snapped! But fortunately it happend 10yds from a garage.

 

Thanks again for the advice. I think i'll run a couple of tanks of petrol through with the twins on then change to the DGAS and see what the difference is like.
