Just wasted a few hours sorting a blown head gasket that was blowing all my coolant out over the road. After stripdown it looks perfect. Pause for tears. Its obviously just the old overheating problem. What a waste of a morning and a few quid!

 

I'm trying to console myself with the thought that I can now properly match the inlet manifold to the head to get that extra 1/2 H.P. So that will be good, er........

I still don't like the oily bits!
