Removable Steering Wheel

Hello,

 

I was just wondering if anyone is using a removable steering wheel, I am thinking about it as with no steering wheel the car can not be stolen, I have heard that you can get them.

 

What are peoples views on this (do you think thay are woth the money etc...)

 

If you do not recomend them what other ways o you think I could secure my S3 is it worth putting an imoblizer on it?

something along these lines?? makes getting inand out easier, though did spot one guy at Harrogate trying to look cool with his stearing wheel tucked under his arm!

just weld the adaptor to the column

 

and buy a wheel that fits the hub (approx £30)

 

lot cheaper than demon tweeks....

That's the type of steering wheel boss I've got for my S7 Picked it up at the Autosport show for about £20.

Still not found the time to get round to welding the adaptor on to the column

I have a Snap Off kit fitted on my Hood. As well as a good security device it makes getting in and out of the car easier and improves access when working in the footwell.
