Hi

Can anyone tell me where I can get a cheap exhaust system for my 2b (on a tight budget) Fitted with dohc engine. I'm hopeing to start the engine in the next couple of weeks. Have tried RHSC but failed to get a reply yet.

Custom Chrome do a fairly cheap one. I have one fitted which cost £99 from Stoneleigh. runs on a modded 2.0 Pinto at 99db.

Are you looking for a silencer, or a manifold? you need to make it clear.

I'am looking for the whole system hopefully. Been in the trying to modify exhaust system that came with the kit i brought as a part build. But I'm not very good with the welder but I'll keep trying.

fill in your location and maybe someone local to you may be a bit handy with a welder!

Rob, if you're cack with the welder, just cut and build it but only spot weld three or four spots on the joints. Thats what I did as I wanted the welding realy good. Took it to the local Longlife exhaust place where I had previously negotiated they would tig it up with SS welds. They had stuff on show which was done beautifully. When I collected it they had mig welded it and I could have done better myself. Decided to wrap it which looks OK. So make sure your welder does know what he is doing.
