It started a bit cold & damp, had to scrape the ice off the tintop so we could get the Robin Hood out of the garage.

Arrived about 10 followed by Darren and Christine. Chris Brown ventured out from St Ives. Andy showed up with his lad in the tin top. Bill Joey and Irene followed a bit later.

Had a good tyre kicking session (to keep warm). B)

Sun tried hard to break out but failed miserably. :(

All in all a good day and the organizers were very glad to see us. :D

Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas and an all GOLD New Year.

Marilyn & Derek.

Nice to meet a couple of new faces even though we weren't there long. Hope you had warmed up a bit Chris and had a good run back (you looked seriously cold!!)

Bill & Joey came in just as we were going out. Still raining just as hard at home as it was when we left (hence the tin top) although sun was trying to get out in Leicester.

It was a good run out and good to have a natter. I think I was colder just standing around than I was driving. Bill, Joey and Irene didnt have sidescreens on there cars so they were even colder.

Guest chris n's missus

have just found out while at work today that the bank we do all our business banking with is not sending christmas cards out this year, but have donated all their card budget to the Rainbow Trust instead. as they're a big corporate bank with branches all over the world, i bet that's one tidy sum going to a very deserving cause.

There are two charitys called Rainbows, both do the same Job. they provide respite care for terminaly ill children like my late daughter Megan.

The Rainbows Trust is a larger organisation that has several hospices and a good network for fundraising.

Megan was helped by Rainbows this is a smaller organisation that only has one hospice and a smaller but just as dedicated team of fundraisers.

Neither organisation gets any govenment funding.
