I'm also interested though - what is the true weight of a 2B?

If it's really over the tonne as the video states I'm going to be thoroughly depressed!!!!! Somewhere I was reading an article (think it was the club magazine?) suggesting circa 750kg????

Mine is a stainless 2B double wishbone with Pinto.....

At SVA with no windscreen, no heater, standard 2.0 Pinto & RHE Recaro seats (they're bl***y heavy!)

my 2B, pillar suspension, came in at 710 kgs.

The design weights (450, 650, total 1050) represent the maximum weight the car is designed to be loaded to,

eg 2 Lardy Hoodies, plus beer, plus camping gear, plus barbecue on the way to LeMans.... :p

According to my MAC issued when my car a 2B DOHC was SVA'd with full fuel tank, all fluids and windscreen etc it weighed axle 1 = 450kg axle 2 = 550kg which are actually the design weights. The actual weights of the car from the SVA Brake/Weight calculation are axle 1 = 392kg axle 2 = 420kg an all up weight of 812kg
