My brother currently has it rusting in a barn somewhere.

Beetle dissapeared in a puff of red dust but not before I had flogged most of its bits on ebay so I got some money back.

Moke would be a bit of a nostalgia trip. I had a girl friend who had a blue moke back in 1966 when I was working as a lifeguard on Poldhu beach in Cornwall. Both were good fun. When the Navy took me to the Seychelles in about 74 all the hire cars on Mahe were white mokes. Dozens of them.

Never ceases to amaze me that Lord Stokes could destroy BMC when the market for their cars was so huge.

bought a red leather steering wheel off e bay and the bloke who had it served his first year apprenticeship with me and after a bit of a natter it was his old car that i have bought and i was buying the original wheel for that car, how spooky is that
