Pierberg Dgas?

After weeks of hunting for a DGAS to fit to my 2L pinto I have bought what looked like a DGAS, at least it has the two sprockets that open the two throttles synchronously.

On closer inspection the float chamber is marked "Pierburg Nessus" and else where there are ford logos and the word SOLEX.

What have I got here? Is this a Webber copy? Will I be able to use the same jets?

Set up is 285 cam Inj Head.

Ive seen some pics on ebay os aDGAS, their 2 x 1/2 circular cogs open the butterflies sync ( DGA 'S' means Syncronous, DGA 'V' vacuum/variable.?)

duno weather Solex, of peirburg copied the design, maybe they did, does is matter if the thing works.? confirm it is 38mm/38mm

sounds interesting, post some pics..

tak.

:) :)

I have one of those too, it fits on the manifold but have not tried it as I want to pass SVA with the standard carb to keep the noise down. I cam off a ford V6 engine apparently but don't know which one.
