Intake Manifold For Bike Carbs

Sorry Stu, but these look like a complete bodge.

The turbulent airflow through them would completely undermine any performance advantage from the bike carbs.

Inlet manifolds must make smooth transitions round corners....air doesnt like sharp edges on bends.

You could cut the bend out... the Boggs ones just come straight out at 90 degrees I think & then fix with Samco hoses the same.

 

You could probably make something similar to this yourself in Mild steel with a bit of time.

this guy is on the locost site and he now does them with a bend in the tube not a cut and weld.

it would be to his benefit to change the picture.

at this price perhaps he's just to buzy. :lol:

I asked if he could do one for the 205 and he can, Turbos right he now does them bent, but Iv still sent the whole carbs to KNN as there a one stop for the hoods ones
