I have a Robin Hood 2B in my garage which has been there for a few years and is unfinished. All the parts to complete the project are there. It is rolling chasis complete wheels, brakes, suspension, engine & gearbox fitted. It has a 2 litre pinto engine in running order. I have decided that at the age of 75 I am unlikely to finish the project and could use the space in the garage. Clearly the new owner would need to collect.

I have recently been informed that club member Michael Edwards sadly passed away earlier this year following a short illness and I have passed on the club's condolences. His family are now looking to sell his car and would like to offer it through the club first. The car is a 2B wishbone, with Pinto and twin Weber carbs. I've been contacted regarding what looks to be a Triumph Herald based kit car chassis. The owner has passed away and now his brother is looking to sell it. It looks to be purpose made, 9'3" (282cm) long from the front anti-roll, bar to the back, 50" (127cm) wide and 19" (48cm) at the narrowest. There's a 3" x 65" (7.6cm x 165cm) propshaft, together with 4 wheels, engine, gearbox. His brother told him the chassis was worth £700 or perhaps that is what he paid. Very sadly and not for the first time recently, I have been contacted regarding the sale of a car belonging to a members who has passed away. I have passed on the clubs condolences to the family and have said we are happy to advertise the car on their behalf. The car is a Robin Hood Superspec which was supplied by the factory as a rolling chassis. It needs completing and IVA test but as it comes with certificates of newness for the major components, it would qualify for a new registration not age related. Not your regular donor but someone might be up for a challenge. I have been contacted regarding a 2012 Maserati 4.2 GT. It had a complete body kit grafted onto it but it is far worse than that. All but the roof has been stripped of external panels and the frame has been rudely pulled into something like shape before the kit was fitted on to it. It's isn't viable to repair but might be a good breaker or donor car for a kit. My mate Mark has a trailer that's surplus to requirement. It's an Ifor Williams galvanised, single axle, unbraked as in the pictures below. Size is 8' x 4' tyres are in good condition and it's got LED lights so one less thing to be messing around with. He's after £350. Trailer is located near Boston, Lincs but he works in the Midlands so it can be transported there quite easily. The club has been contacted regarding a car for sale. It was started by the seller’s father who sadly passed away before completing it and it would be nice to think someone could complete the work. The car requires finishing off and IVA and this is reflected in the price. The car is an Exmo 2 and the engine is 1.6 Pinto and there’s load of paperwork with it.
