One irritating thing. I threw away the ARB, front and back from my sierra donor. Wonder if the rear one would have done for the front of the hood. It was only about 8mm thick as I remember it.

 

I did see a reference to making an ARB. Started, first get your steel bar and then bend the ends. EN8 or 080M40 was suggested. It did say this might not work!

 

I shall be wearing the coat all day as I trawl the scrappie. Spose I will have to find two reliants if I'm going to use the front ARB's, one for each side.

The ARB's on that Fiesta XR2 we brought to Barkston were not very big.....

I have a similar issue with the rear of the Firefox - - can't tell its happening when I am driving but the photos show it up.
