Side Exhausts Rule

after having to lie under a renault laguna to get the leaking exhaust box off in the cold and wet i realised how thankful i am that my lovely lovely 2b has its exhaust on the side where i can see it and get at it easily should i ever need too

 

I am now making a new laguna exhaust entirely out of weld wire it only weights 4x as much and costs £3 million pounds in rods but it will hopefully outlast the diff which i think is making a noise

any exhaust you can remove in 30 secs with no tools other than a 13mm spanner has to be good!

If i had left the laguna for any longer the exhaust would have removed itself in less than 30 secs probably somewhere on the A48. i hate welding exhausts burn a hole - fill a hole - burn a hole - fill a hole

Visit the skip outside the local exhaust shop --and build yourself a new one from old Volvo pipes --Yes thats what the 2B's original exhaust was ( DOHC version). It was so solid my granddaughter used it as the step to get in.
