Shocks

Hi all,

 

Got my Robin last week and ended up towing it home due to rad hose falling off.

Then when I got home I jacked it up to refit a hose.

Anyway today I went out for a play and noticed when i got back both shocks were hanging off.

I suspect this is something to do with one of my above actions, but should they come off that

easy???

More to the point how do i get them back on?

 

I am new to mechanics so will probably be asking a lot of dumb sounding questions, but

I really want to do this hoody thing so I need to start somewhere.

Hi,

 

I'm no expert but if you take the shock off put a bit of washing up liquid on the rubber bush it should go in quite easily.Once refitted it looks like you need a big ish washer on it to stop it happening again.

A big washer needed.

 

Not too much "fary liquid" or it will keep sliding off.

Dont know where you got the car from ,But I would get it checked over before driving it again
