Car got worse on the drive home..

With only one headlamp I was happy to cruise on the M4 slow lane.

Most of the turns were LH so I had indicators. ( LH side continued to behave as normal)

 

But when it stared to drizzle I tried to put on the wipers --no wipers at all , and the RH indicators( not flashing, permanently on) got brighter.

 

Thank goodness I didn't have to put the hood on.

 

A job for tonight I think !!

Great Hoodie diagnostics,

Earth on headlamp !!

The chassis wire must have fallen out ( haven't found it yet). System found it easier to return route through the indicator bulbs.,as the earth for indicators and headlight were common. Easy fix --add a new earth. Why it stopped the wipers is a mystery. Graham B
