Hi ,

Ive just got back from visiting the guys at BGH Gearboxes.

I'm fed up with having a useless first gear, so I decided to get my box rebuilt

with at least an uprated first gear.

I dealt with Chris & its obvious he knows his stuff. Plus I toured the workshop & saw some boxes being rebuilt

while I was there. Very professional.

 

The most interesting part for me is that they have had a new front splined gear "thingy" (the bit the clutch plate rides on)

made which fits into the stronger 2.8 box but is the same length as the standard 2 litre type 9.

It will make fitting the 2.8 box behind a Pinto far easier. Dunno the price for just that part, but worth a call.
