23 splines 1" is standard Ford Sierra 2.0L you are best fitting the 2.0L flywheel so as to use the 8 1/2" clutch, the smaller clutch could have trouble holding the extra torque especialy when you upgrade.

thanks for advice, got a standard 2.0 clutch kit and everything fitted straight on. only problem now is i just went to tighten up the crank pulley bolt and wedged it to stop it from turning using the front casting and cracked it, so might well have to strip it all off again and find another casting from somewhere. one step forward and two steps back!
